Thanks to lax background checks, even after 9/11, the Hezbollah spy who managed to obtain sensitive jobs at the FBI and CIA is not the first terrorist supporter to infiltrate the U.S. government.
An alleged al-Qaida operative also infiltrated the Environmental Protection Agency, according to federal investigators and court documents obtained by WND.
The case, details of which are revealed here for the first time, involves Waheeda Tehseen, a Pakistani national who obtained a sensitive position with the EPA in Washington as a toxicologist even though she was not a U.S. citizen.
Like the Lebanese national suspected of passing secrets to Hezbollah, Tehseen lied about her citizenship on her government application, a falsehood that the government failed – in both cases – to catch in its security background investigation.

CAIR seeks removal of label in terrorism case

The Council on American-Islamic Relations is seeking help from House Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers Jr. to pressure the Justice Department to change the group's status as a co-conspirator in a terrorism case.
CAIR officials recently met with Mr. Conyers, Michigan Democrat, and then wrote a letter asking him to lobby the new attorney general on behalf of the group, and to hold hearings.
CAIR is among several hundred Muslim groups listed as unindicted co-conspirators in a recent federal terrorism trial in Dallas into activities by the Holy Land Foundation Inc., a group linked to funding the Palestinian Hamas terrorist group. The trial recently ended in a mistrial and prosecutors have said they plan to re-try the case.
Despite its uncertain outcome, the trial has produced a large amount of information and evidence identifying U.S. and foreign groups sympathetic to or direct supporters of international Islamist terrorists.
A 1991 internal memorandum from the radical Muslim Brotherhood identified 29 front groups, including the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), that are part of a covert program by the Brotherhood in the United States to subvert American society.
CAIR officials have requested that Mr. Conyers ask the Justice Department to explain why it publicly identified the 306 co-conspirators in the Holy Land Foundation trial.
"Those on the list suffer negatively as a result of the label 'unindicted co-conspirator' as it impresses upon the typical member of the American public that those listed are involved in criminal activity," the group said in a letter to Mr. Conyers. "In reality, those so named have neither been charged with a crime nor offered any recourse for challenging the allegation."
The group said the conspirator designation is being used by counterterrorism advocates to block government funds from being used to conduct outreach programs to Muslim groups. Pending fiscal 2008 legislation would block the Justice Department from using any funds for participation in conferences sponsored by a group or person identified by the government as a criminal unindicted co-conspirator.

Illegal immigrant Muslim FBI/CIA agent accused of passing info to Hizballah worked in Iraq questioning Al-Qaeda detainees

It just keeps getting worse: the Keystone Kops idiocy of the FBI and CIA in hiring this woman and employing her in sensitive work is a manifestation of both agencies' abysmal failure to address the ideological dimension of this conflict. They hardly know what a jihad is, much less know how to question a potential employee to determine her allegiance to the jihad and Islamic supremacism.

There’s new information about the young Lebanese woman who pleaded guilty Tuesday to charges she lied about her background to get jobs at the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Central Intelligence Agency.
Current and former intelligence officials tell NBC News that Nada Nadim Prouty had a much bigger role than officials at the FBI and CIA first acknowledged. In fact, Prouty was assigned to the CIA’s most sensitive post, Baghdad, and participated in the debriefings of high-ranking al-Qaida detainees.
A former colleague called Prouty “among the best and the brightest” CIA officers in Baghdad. She was so exceptional, agree officials of both agencies, the CIA recruited her from the FBI to work for the agency’s clandestine service at Langley, Va., in June 2003. She then went to Iraq for the agency to work with the U.S. military on the debriefings.
“Early on, she was an active agent in the debriefings,” said one former intelligence official. “It was more than translation.”
On Tuesday, she pleaded guilty to conspiracy to illegally search FBI computers for classified information about Hezbollah and to naturalization fraud — a sham marriage to a former husband just to become a U.S. citizen. As the Justice Department noted, she needed to be a U.S. citizen to join the CIA and thus had defrauded the agency. (Prouty first came to the United States on a student visa in 1989 and after overstaying her visa paid an acquaintance in Detroit to marry her so she could get U.S. citizenship. She later divorced the man.)

Why I can't sleep
There are just so many things to be genuinely concerned about these days, it’s no wonder I’m having a hard time sleeping. This morning I woke up before 4 am thinking about the debacle in Pakistan. Why is Benazir Bhutto stirring up such unrest? Musharaff is at least keeping Pakistan’s nuclear weapons out of the hands of the radical Islamists even if he is breaking some major rules of a democracy by being both political and military leader. Isn’t it the end game that counts? How many more enemies can we afford to allow to have free reign with WMD’s? Oh yea, I can hear some of you saying, Bush lied, there were no WMDs, it’s a war for oil, it’s the neocons, stop this unjust war, what about the Oklahoma Cit bombing,? bla, bla, bla.
Well, who in the hell in their right mind cares about any of that? If you think it is a war only about oil and profit then I challenge you to stop driving your car, stop buying anything at the market, stop using electricity and shut your fat pie hole.
If you think someone lied about WMDs you had better check into the funny farm. Because we all know that plenty of WMDs have not only been found by the British and the Canadians and the Australians in Iraq, and that they know others have been shipped to Syria and also buried in underground bunkers and in the desert sands of those middle eastern hell-holes. And that the radical Islamists, the many group of 7th century throw back barbarians are working feverishly to get their hands on more WMD’s such as those nukes in Pakistan, you can just cut the crap too!
And don’t even get me started about water boarding! What in the hell do you think the enemies of civilization would do in the same position? For God’s sake people! Where in the heck is your brain? Don’t you have an ounce of sense or a moment’s worth of history lessons in your background? It’s them or us, baby and right now it certainly looks like they have the upper hand because of so many Americans and others around the world, who just refuse to believe the hard cold facts.
Islam is screaming, has been screaming around the world and in our very own country that they will destroy everything that is not fundamental Islam. And where are our politicians? Which ones speak out against the very real peril we are in? Would it be Hussein Obama, the lying, as much white as he is black, Islamic, madrassa student, anti-American, who refuses to not only wear a flag pin but also refuses to pledge allegiance to the flag! Why in God’s name would anyone even consider voting for someone who is waiting to undermine all that is good about America?
Geez, will I ever be able to get a good night’s sleep again, worrying about the future of my children and grandchildren with the world spinning more and more out of control every moment?
More thoughts and worries to be written about later, as I can stand to address them. For now I just want to say “WAKE UP and face the fact that your life and your children’s future is under heavy attack by many enemies” We must DEMAND that our politicians cut the crap and support Americans or they will be voted out. Don’t go silently to the ovens. Demand terrorist profiling! Demand our borders be closed. Demand the rights of citizenship over illegal alien invaders. Demand the right to free speech. Demand that ALL mosques be monitored. Demand that your Constitutional rights be upheld. Write, fax, phone, scream from the roof tops, before it’s too late and we become a nation of civil war, bombs, lawlessness, Sharia law, and a world that you can not even imagine in your wildest dreams in the nights when you are able to sleep.
